The right support.
At each stage.

01 / UNDERSTAND THE SITE

Surveys & design support

Establish the existing system, site requirements and practical constraints before defining the work.

  • Existing-system surveys and scope reviews
  • Design support for new work and alterations
  • Recommendations and a clearly defined quotation

02 / DELIVER THE WORK

Installation & upgrades

New installations, extensions and remedial works coordinated around your building and its use.

  • Fire detection and alarm installations
  • System alterations and upgrade works
  • Coordination with site teams and other trades

03 / CHECK & HAND OVER

Commissioning & handover

Commissioning against the agreed design, with the testing and documentation defined in the project scope.

  • System testing and commissioning
  • Recording findings and outstanding actions
  • Handover information and certification within scope

04 / KEEP IT WORKING

Maintenance & fault finding

  • Planned maintenance visits
  • Investigation of faults and unwanted alarms
  • Remedial recommendations and service records

02 / WIRELESS FIRE ALARMS

Less cabling.
Careful planning.

Wireless fire alarms can be an option where new cable routes are difficult or disruptive. Suitability depends on the building, system design and a proper assessment of radio coverage.

CYGNUSHYFIRE

Have a Cygnus or Hyfire system, or considering one for your site? Tell us the model and the work you need. We’ll confirm the scope, compatibility and support required before quoting.

Establish whether a survey is needed, then set out the work, assumptions and exclusions.

03 / DELIVER

Coordinate the work.

Agree access, programme and responsibilities before starting.

04 / FOLLOW THROUGH

Close out clearly.

Provide the agreed records, explain any outstanding actions and discuss ongoing care.

04 / BEFORE YOU ENQUIRE

A few useful answers.

Can you help with an existing fire alarm system?

Send us the panel make and model, the site location and a brief description of the work. We’ll confirm whether ESS can support the system and whether a survey or further information is needed.

Is a wireless system right for our building?

It may be suitable, but that needs to be established from the building, design requirements, radio coverage and system compatibility. We’ll discuss the assessment needed before proposing a solution.

What do your BAFE and NSI certificates cover?
